The Truth about Various Diets

The best diet for this condition is one which is low in salt. Avoid processed and frozen foods and drink plenty of water to help flush the sodium from your body. Stay away from fatty and fried food as well as these can also raise your blood pressure.
For anyone being diagnosed with what is called Syndrome X, the chances of developing heart disease and diabetes is high. In this case a metabolic syndrome diet should be followed which consists of limiting the amount of fatty foods eaten and increasing the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables consumed.
